We all have them. …Lazy Sundays. Sundays where you just want to stay in bed recovering from a busy week. And on Sundays, that one day a week (especially in winter), it’s more than okay to stay in bed and netflixing with snacks without feeling bad for doing so – at least in my opinion.
…Yes, today is one of those days for me – it’s been such a busy week as a result of my recent relocation to Amsterdam, Holland. As such, I’m all cuddled up with a hot cup of tea and some nuts watching Friends – because that Television series just never gets old! And that’s normally what I do on lazy Sundays: Stay in watching my favourite Television series. I thought I might share my favourite series with you:
- Friends
- Big Bang Theory
- Modern Family
- New Girl
- How I Met Your Mother
- Game of Thrones
- Peaky Blinders
- The Blacklist
- Bones
- Rejseholdet (or ’Unit One’ in English)
…
What are your lazy Sunday’s Television series? Anything I should be checking out? …What am I missing out on – yes, you always need new series as backups, right!?

I totally agree with you about those lazy Sundays! I only wish I had more patience and less of a stress nerve and could actually allow myself those calm moments more often. I’ll have to work on that, starting today. Thanks for reminding me of that!
If you like The Blacklist, chances are you’d also appreciate Sherlock and True Detective, if you haven’t watched them already. Have a nice Sunday! 🙂

Oh yeah, Sherlock is great. However, I’ve never watched True Detective – I’ll have to give that a go:)

Have you ever seen Happy Endings? It was cancelled after 3 seasons, but it’s actually a really nice, funny sitcom! I’d also recommend Parks and Recreation any day of the week!

I’m crazy about Gaame of Thrones and definitely not about Big Bang Theory. Lazy Sundays are a rare commodity and one should appreciate them as such 🙂 something wrong about lazy Sundays? just nothing 🙂 enjoy your lazy day 🙂

An oldy but a “goodie”, I watched hours of Twilight Zone episodes between Christmas and New Year’s and recognized younger versions of now older actors, some no longer living. I also discovered that the story lines have since been made into feature films. I love psychological dramas and this show is one of the originals:)

Friends is great! Saw the whole series 4 or 5 times, but it never gets old!
I love Twin Peaks, although it’s a totally different genre. The Office I like a lot too, Fawlty Towers,

Ah! Look at all these awesome shows that I never have time to watch! :p I tried to watch ‘New Girl’ and I used watch ‘Big Bang Theory’ a lot, but I never have the time (or cable) to keep up with them. Though, I do really want to watch GOT once I get around to finish reading the books. *is almost half-way through Clash of Kings*

On your list of TV programs I have only seen Game of Thrones and other than ‘Friends’ I’ve never heard of the others – perhaps I should get out more :-o)
Lazy Sunday for me is a reading Sunday, or a research Sunday for future novels, above all peace and quiet, and with a little rain to ‘dampen’ the idea of going out. Excuse the pun!

Many on your list match up with mine! I agree, Friends was years ago but is still as funny today.

I have to agree with most of these series. I’m a Big Bang, The Blacklist and a Sherlock addict. If I get chance to have a lazy Sunday then these are always a must. Have a lovely Sunday.
